Established lettings and professional property management services for landlords across the North West
From finding the right tenant to managing the day-to-day, you’ll have a named contact who knows you, your property and your tenants, supported by a local team that keeps things moving and you informed.
Our approach to property management
We understand that your rental property needs to deliver a healthy return without becoming a full-time job. Our local team draws on Lisa and John Curran’s longstanding property management experience, combining personal service with practical advice on letting in England and Wales.
You deal with people who know your property
You’ll have a named contact who gets to know you, your tenants and your property, supported by a wider team.
Repairs handled without unnecessary delay
Agree how you’d like maintenance handled when you come on board. Within that authority, we can deal directly with tenants and trusted contractors to get things moving.
Local contractors we know and trust
We’ve built relationships with reliable local contractors who know our properties and the standards we expect. Particularly valuable when something needs sorting quickly.
Another set of eyes on your property
Our contractors don’t just complete the job they were called out for. If they notice something else while they’re there, they can flag it with us so we can address potential problems early.
Compliance dates kept on the radar
We keep track of relevant renewal dates and help coordinate the checks and certificates your property needs, so important dates aren’t left sitting in your diary.
Proactive communication
You shouldn’t be wondering what’s happening with your property. We keep you informed when maintenance, rent or tenancy matters need your attention, with the Street app giving you another way to check updates in your own time.
Check property updates, whenever it suits you
The Street app works alongside your Currans property manager, giving you another way to stay connected to your property and access useful information in your own time.
- Stay informed when maintenance is reported — tenants can report issues to Currans, with notifications keeping you in the loop while we handle what happens next.
- Keep track of maintenance — see maintenance information and updates in one place, whenever you want to check in.
- Access your statements when you need them — view your property accounts at a time that suits you, including outside normal office hours.
- Technology without losing the personal service — convenient access to information, alongside a named Currans contact who knows you, your tenants and your property.
Your local estate agency
With offices on Grosvenor Street in Chester and the high streets of Mold and Heswall, we’re part of the communities where we work. We know the neighbourhoods, build relationships with landlords and tenants, and work with local tradespeople we know and trust.
Property management is personal to us. You’ll know our close-knit team by name, and we’ll know you, your property and your tenants. Alongside your dedicated property manager and app access, you have a local office you can visit when you’d prefer to talk in person.
We advise on rental value, tenant expectations and opportunities to improve your property’s performance, whether you’re letting a single property or managing an established portfolio.
Over 98% of landlords ask us to re-let their properties, and many have been with us for over 20 years. We understand that a successful rental depends on more than finding a tenant: keeping tenancy gaps to a minimum and making informed decisions about the property both matter to your return.

Whether you’re letting for the first time, managing an established property or thinking about changing agents, you’ll probably have a few questions. Here are the practical details about how our lettings and property management service works.

Let only helps you find and set up a tenant, then you manage the tenancy yourself. Full management adds ongoing tenant contact, repair coordination, rent collection and accounts. Some activities, including inspections and check-out, are charged separately.
With our fully managed service, you have a named contact who gets to know you, your property and your tenants. Our close-knit lettings team works together, so someone can help when your usual contact is unavailable. You can speak to us by phone, receive updates through the app or visit our local offices in Chester, Heswall and Mold.
Yes, we work with landlords in Chester, Cheshire, Wirral and North Wales. The legislative requirements for landlords and property management differ by location, so we discuss the arrangements relevant to your property.
Yes, we regularly work with landlords who live outside the area and need a local team to oversee their rental property. We handle tenant enquiries, coordinate repairs with contractors we know and trust, and arrange inspections, keeping you informed through updates, statements and app access. Inspections and certain other services may carry separate charges.
We contact the tenant and keep you informed of the action taken. If the issue continues, we discuss the next steps with you. Management does not guarantee rent payment; any separate insurance or legal support needs to be discussed with the team.
Yes. If you’re considering changing agents, speak to us in confidence about your current arrangement. We’ll talk you through what’s involved in moving the management of your property to Currans Homes and help make the handover as straightforward as possible.
Your tenant reports the issue to us and we take it from there. Where the work falls within the maintenance authority agreed with you, we can arrange the appropriate contractor and deal directly with them and your tenant. For anything outside those agreed parameters, we’ll speak to you first. We work with trusted local contractors we know well, so when something needs attention — including an unexpected issue — we know who to call.
We believe in keeping landlords informed, rather than waiting for you to ask. Your property manager will update you when something needs your attention or a decision from you, while the Street app gives you another way to check in at a time that suits you. You can view maintenance information and property statements through the app, including outside normal office hours.
Good property management often comes down to knowing the area, the property and the right people to call. Our team works locally and has established relationships with contractors we know and trust. Those contractors can also flag anything else they notice while attending your property, giving us another set of eyes on its condition and an opportunity to address smaller concerns before they become bigger ones.
Contact our lettings team with your property’s location, whether it is already let and the support you need. If you’re preparing to let, we’ll normally meet you at the property to assess it and discuss the likely rent. If you’re switching agents, we’ll begin with a confidential conversation about your current arrangement. Before you instruct us, we’ll explain the recommended service, fees, your responsibilities and the next steps.
