Rental Fees & Tenancy Applications

Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019, we do not charge a rental fee.

However, at the point that you wish to secure a property, we do take a £100 holding deposit. This is a holding deposit that is reimbursed against your rental commitment once your tenancy agreement commences.

According to the 2019 act, a landlord must take a property off the market and commence referencing, once this deposit is paid. If the tenant gives false or misleading information, or they decide to cancel their application the holding deposit will be retained by the agency. You can read more about the Tenant Fee ban here.

Insurance for tenants

Our insurance partners can provide the widest cover at a competitive premium, with policies available for both tenants and landlords alike. We have access to a range of products available from specialist insurers and can assist you in finding a policy that adequately meets your needs.


Insuring your own possessions is of paramount importance. However, we also strongly recommend that your policy provides for a minimum of £2,500 worth of cover against accidental damage to your landlord’s contents (including furniture, fixtures and fittings). In adding this to your policy you can safeguard the return of your deposit should an accident occur during the course of your Tenancy.
