RENT SMART WALES WILL SOON BE HERE…

Since 23 November 2015, all Landlords operating in Wales must become registered with Rent Smart Wales.  Landlords have a year to comply with this new obligation.  This new requirement comes from Part 1 of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014.

Are you a Landlord with a property in Wales and you collect rent or manage the property yourself?

If you are, you need a licence and have to either have accredited Rent Smart Wales training or have an accredited agent to be responsible for your rent collection or management.  This needs to happen by 23 November 2016.  For more information please contact our office on 01244 316338 or you can contact Rent Smart Wales direct by visiting www.rentsmart.gov.wales.

At Homelet of Chester we have been letting homes for over 27 years.  For your peace of mind every person is National Association of Estate Agent (NAEA) qualified.

If you are interested in our rent collection service this starts at 4%* this will ensure we collect rent for your property and chase any rent arrears.  Alternatively, you could opt for a full management package which would include rent collection, regular inspections and 24 on-call access for yourself and your tenants, this service starts from 5%*.

With a managing agent taking care of your property, you have the peace of mind that you do not need to take the education and we will take care of all the relevant paperwork.
